Leading glass packaging supplier Pattesons Glass has further strengthened its team with the appointment of David Watson as Packaging Room Supervisor and Emily Nottingham, who joins the business on an Accountancy Apprenticeship programme.
David joins Pattesons to bolster warehouse operations and oversee the day-to-day management of the packaging room. In his role as Packaging Room Supervisor, he will be responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining high quality-control standards, managing stock accuracy, and ensuring orders are packed and dispatched efficiently to meet customer expectations.
Commenting on his new role, David said:
“I’m delighted to be joining Pattesons Glass at such a positive time for the business. The company has a strong reputation for quality and service, and I’m looking forward to supporting the warehouse team, improving efficiencies where possible, and ensuring we continue to deliver the high standards our customers expect.”
Emily Nottingham joins Pattesons on an Accountancy Apprenticeship scheme, which will see her work across the full accounts department while completing her professional qualifications. Over the course of the programme, Emily will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, transactional accounting, and compliance, with the aim of becoming a fully qualified accountant by the end of her apprenticeship.
Emily said:
“I’m really excited to be starting my career with Pattesons Glass. The apprenticeship gives me the opportunity to gain practical experience while working towards my qualifications, and I’m looking forward to developing my skills within a supportive and growing business.”
Both appointments reflect Pattesons Glass’ continued growth and investment in its people, strengthening both operational capability and future talent development as the business expands.
Sam Graves, Marketing Manager at Pattesons Glass, added:
“We’re very pleased to welcome David and Emily to the Pattesons team. David’s operational experience will further enhance the efficiency of our warehouse and packaging processes, while Emily’s apprenticeship demonstrates our commitment to developing future talent within the business. These appointments are another positive step forward as we continue to grow and invest across all areas of the company.”
