If you are travelling to our office, you can do so via car, coach or bus, train, air, foot or bike.

We are located near Grimsby and have excellent connections, which should make your journey as smooth as possible. 

Travelling By Car

If you’re travelling by car via the M1, M62, A1, or M180, your route will bring you onto the A180 heading eastbound towards Grimsby.

  1. Stay on the A180 until you arrive at the Pyewipe Roundabout.
  2. At the Pyewipe Roundabout, take the third exit, then continue to the Westgate Roundabout, taking the second exit.
  3. Proceed along the A180 to the Lockhill Roundabout, where you should take the third exit.
  4. Continue straight through Grimsby, following signs for Peaks Parkway.
  5. Travel down Peaks Parkway, continuing straight through all traffic lights until you reach the Low Farm Roundabout.
  6. At the Low Farm Roundabout, take the first exit onto Hewitts Avenue (A1031) and follow the road until you reach Hewitts Business Park.
  7. Turn onto Altyre Way, then take a left turn onto Blossom Avenue.
  8. You’ll find Pattesons Glass Ltd located at the end of Blossom Avenue—look out for our signage and designated customer parking.
 

If you are heading to Grimsby from a different direction, we advise you call the office for advice.

Travelling by Coach or Bus

If you are arriving by coach or bus from Grimsby Town Riverhead Exchange, the nearest bus stop to our office is Old Clee – Hewitts Avenue.

From the Old Clee bus stop, follow the footpath along Hewitts Avenue (A1031) heading towards Hewitts Business Park. Once you reach the entrance to the business park:

 

  1. Continue along Altyre Way.
  2. Turn left onto Blossom Avenue.
  3. Pattesons Glass Ltd is located at the end of Blossom Avenue—look out for our signage and customer parking area.

Travelling By Train

If you are travelling by Train you will need to head/ depart at Grimsby Town station.

Regular services operate between Grimsby and main line stations including Doncaster, Lincoln, and Newark. If you are travelling from outside Lincolnshire, it will be likely you will have to change at one these stations to complete your journey.

Once at Grimsby station, you are only ten minutes away from our offices. We advise using one of the taxis that are available from outside the station and the journey should cost around £5 – £8

Travelling By Air

Our nearest airport is Humberside Airport, so we advise checking flight availability due to limited offerings. The next closest Airport is Leeds Bradford.

Once at Humberside airport, you are only twenty – thirty minutes away from our offices. We advise using one of the taxis that are available from the airport and the journey should cost around £20 – £30.

Travelling by Foot or Bike

If you are planning on walking, we advise you map your route beforehand as there are limited walkways surrounding our industrial estate. 

You can either approach via Great Coates following the same route advised within our bus and coach section. If you are approaching from central Grimsby there is an overpass called Gilbey Road Bridge, which will allow you to walk safely onto Estate Road 2.If you are planning to walk to our premises, we recommend mapping your route in advance, as pedestrian pathways around the industrial estate are limited.

You can approach via Taylor’s Avenue or Humberston Road, following the same directions outlined in our bus and coach section.

Alternatively, if you are approaching from the Low Farm Roundabout, follow the footpath along the A1031 (Hewitts Avenue) until you reach Altyre Way. Continue along Altyre Way and turn left onto Blossom Avenue, where you will find Pattesons Glass Ltd at the end of the road.

Please take care and be mindful of traffic in the area.

Car Parking

Parking on site is restricted but we do have two visitor parking slots available. We advise, if you are visiting our site you pre check the availability of these spaces before arrival.

We also have EV Charging available for visitors to use free of charge.

Where to Stay

There are plenty of suitable hotels, guest houses and bed & breakfasts in the surrounding area. We advise using booking platforms like Booking.com or Airbnb or call us for assistance in booking locally on your behalf.
